Watch the video to learn about the aims of the online assessment toolkit for aphasia and the team behind the project.

Methodology

This toolkit is developed from FATE-A data collected from experts living with aphasia and speech and language therapists over 3 years and designed using the principles of behaviour change theory. We used focus groups, survey findings, usability testing and community engagement to gather information from different experts and synthesised this to organise key themes we should address with this toolkit. You can find out more about our methodology and how we applied behaviour change theory principles here.

Acknowledgements

Thank you to all who contributed to making this toolkit. This toolkit has been developed through consultation and involvement with expert advisors, people with lived experience of aphasia and speech and language therapists. Thank you to Barts Charity for funding this research.
